South Street Water Treatment Plant Project:
The new Granulated Active Carbon (GAC) filters are online at the South Street Treatment Plant (May of 2024). These filters are highly effective in removing PFAS. The May results were 0 for all PFAS contaminants in the finished water from the treatment plant. The Norwell Water Department has an ongoing program to monitor PFAS levels.
Mission Statement
The Norwell Water Department and its personnel provide clean, safe drinking water to the residents and businesses of the Town of Norwell that meet or exceed all State and Federal standards with the highest level of customer service.
