Council On Aging

Our Mission

Our mission is to serve as a resource supporting the unique needs of Norwell’s older adults and their families. Our goal is to develop and provide programs and services promoting an independent, healthy and active lifestyle. We strive to ensure that Norwell’s older adults have the opportunity to participate in a safe, welcoming and open environment that fosters learning, social interaction, volunteerism and to enhance dignity and a connection to the community.

COVID-19 Update

All regular programming and transportation has resumed.  We are a mask friendly facility for those who choose to wear one.  A reminder that if you are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, even mild ones, we ask that we please stay home.  This will help ensure the safety and well-being of other visitors and our staff.  Thank you for your considerate cooperation.

While masks are also no longer required on our vans, we strongly encourage riders to consider wearing one, especially if you are in an at-risk category.   Please contact the office at 781-659-7878 for more information.
