Norwell Recreation seeks Applicants for Summer 2024 Seasonal Employees

Are you an organized, energetic and mature individual looking for a seasonal position for Summer 2024?

Do you have experience  or interest in working with children and planning and leading fun activities?

Are you planning to pursue a career in education, coaching, recreation, sports management or public health?

Norwell Recreation Department invites you to complete an  application for possible employment as a Recreation Leader for the Norwell Recreation SCENE Program for Pre-K-8th Grade.  Applicants must be 16 years or older to be employed by the Town of Norwell.  Individuals will be expected to work, Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm for 6-8 weeks throughout the Summer (approximately 6/16/24-8/16/24).

Previous experiences in leading children, supervising staff and planning a daily schedule of recreation activities is preferred.  Please complete and return the application to the Recreation Department Office at Norwell Town Hall,  345 Main St. or email:  George Grey  ggrey@townofnorwell.net

 Applications are being accepted now through April 19, 2024.

Positions that are available include:  SCENE Site Supervisor  and SCENE Site Leader.
