Norwell Cultural Council Mission Statement
The mission of the Norwell Cultural Council (NCC) is to promote excellence, access, education and diversity in the arts, humanities and interpretive sciences in order to improve the quality of life for all Norwell residents and to contribute to the economic vitality of our communities.
The funding for grants is provided by the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) to Local Cultural Councils (LCC), through the Massachusetts legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts. Funds are distributed by the NCC in the following grant categories:
- A broad range of cultural activities
- Cultural field trips for young people
